We are a group of people, organized locally yet spanning the globe who help care for people in need. (click here for the full mission statement)

We respond to a feeling within that prompts us to reach out to others. Most people experience this feeling; it’s sometimes called the “nudge”. It happens as you walk past the homeless person who asks you for money, (I wonder if I should help?), the collection outside the supermarket where you question whether you should give, the request for volunteers at the soup kitchen.

We at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul believe that this NUDGE is an invitation to get involved.  A calling from a loving God to assist in caring for the people in the world.  Take a few minutes and wander around the website and discover more about responding to the NUDGE.
